Cleveland, OH — Water Daily, a digital B2B news media publication covering the water and wastewater sector, is proud to announce the formation of its inaugural Editorial Advisory Board, a group of respected utility leaders who will help guide the publication’s editorial direction through WEFTEC 2026.
The first three members of the Advisory Board bring deep operational, engineering, and strategic expertise from across the country:
-
Rachel Knobbs, Engineer, Colorado Springs Utilities
-
Greg Yuronich, Chief of Operations, Avon Lake Regional Water (Ohio)
-
Joseph Lanzafame, Director of Public Utilities, City of New London, Conn.
Together, this board will provide insight into the most pressing challenges facing water and wastewater utilities, help identify emerging trends worth elevating, and ensure Water Daily continues delivering high-quality, practitioner-centered reporting for operators, managers, and public-sector leaders.
“We are super excited to welcome Rachel, Greg, and Joe as the founding members of our Editorial Advisory Board,” said Water Daily content director Eric Sandy. “Their experience representing different geographies, system sizes, and operational realities will strengthen our coverage and keep us grounded in the real work happening across U.S. utilities. We like to say that journalism is the practice of sustained learning, and we’re thrilled to exercise that work alongside professionals like these three.”
The 2025-2026 advisory board will serve through WEFTEC 2026, after which a new group of practitioners will be selected to continue rotating perspectives and maintain Water Daily’s commitment to field-driven journalism.
