
Hanover, Maryland – December 12, 2025 – On Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, RF Valves Inc. hosted a successful Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting event featuring tours of the new and expanded state-of-the-art facility and remarks from local, state, federal, and embassy officials.

The event marked an exciting milestone for the company as it expands its operations following double-digit growth year over year over the last 4 years.
“I’m so proud to be able to create jobs while designing and manufacturing innovative engineering solutions for our clients on site right here in Hanover, Maryland” said Danilo Garcia, President of RF Valves, Inc. “For more than 30 years our engineers have been solving complex challenges across many industries and municipal applications, with our valves playing a vital role in critical infrastructure around the globe.”
RF Valves has supported projects for clients including Georgia Pacific, Constellation Energy, DC Water and mines like Anglo America, BHP, Grupo Mexico, Codelco, Freeport McMoran in Arizona, and the Carlsbad Desalination Plant, the largest desalination plant in the country. The soon to open Gordie Howe International Bridge also features RF Valve products.
The new space, which is a 40% growth from their previous location, includes workspace, warehouse, and logistics operations, and shelves over 3,200 SKUS of products.
Global reach with strong ties to South Africa and Finland
RF Valves has cultivated a strong international presence over the years. In 2010, the company was acquired by DFC Water, the largest valve manufacturer in Africa, based in South Africa. To honor these international ties, Mr. Ismail Esau, Charge d’Affaires for South Africa, shared remarks during the ceremony, underscoring South Africa’s pride in RF Valves’ continued growth and success.
In addition, Ulla Lainio, Commercial Counselor for the Embassy of Finland, spoke to the shared legacy between RF Valves and Finland, where the company was originally founded alongside its Maryland base in 1993.
Other distinguished speakers included Maryland State Delegate Mike Rogers, Anne Arundel County Councilman Peter Smith, and Jessica Klaitman from Senator Chris Van Hollen’s office, who presented a citation on behalf of the Senator in recognition of RF Valves’ contribution to the local and global economy.
